I am a member of a local
fly fishing group that deals with tying also. You might want to check with a
Trout Unlimited Chapter in your area that may be able to help with the fly
tying kits and instruction as well.
Ask your local fly shop. I am good friends with owners of the two local
shops and they have both offered to let me use the equiptment they use in
their classes (vices and all the tools) on nights that they are not having a
class. After all the students that you teach are future customers of thiers.
They may also help with the materials that they use in the classes
too.
