I appreciate all the ideas and suggestions, the bic pen thing would work and as for asking the local fly shop to loan their tools they use for classes not gonna happen. The reason they won't loan their tools is because they don't have tools for tying classes. The participants have to provide their own tools and vises as well as materials, but they do get 10% off their purchases during the class. I know that sounds crazy but that is how they do it and the other fly shop doesn't offer tying classes. I'll figure something out, thanks anyway.
