George, I was mildly surprised that we have so few Hams on the VFB. I remember my ham club in Panama City, Fla, back in the late 60's. I was president in 69-70. We not only sponsored a Ham Explorer Post, but had a fly tying club as well since the Scouts wanted to do both and most of us hams were also fly tiers. I'll wait about a year and will run the swap again. Nest time, I'll send invitations to all the fly fishing lists I belong to.. Could turn into a really good swap. To me, fly tyers and ham operators are "kindred spirits", in that both take a lot of dedication.

Jimmy, received my flies for the Ham Radio Swap in yesterday's post. Nice
looking flies, now all we have to do is get more ham radio operators tying
flies or more fly tyers operating ham radio!!!
