Not many people see baby pigeons, as the parents keep them in the nests, usually in high places, until they are mature. However, I can imagine the babies being very ugly.

Horseshoe crabs around here are giant pleistocene like critters. About 18 inches across. I'd love to see the fish that ate one of those. And those may be the babies. Never saw any smaller ones, so maybe these are just hatched. Like pigeons. Has anyone ever seen a baby pigeon? What do they grow up into?
