A while back John Martinez asked me for the
recipe for the purple Joe I submitted to the Perps box.
Very sorry for not getting this out
sooner but here it is. The one in the perp box was actually a variant, the
correct version uses badger for the wings in place of the brown which was on
mine.
Hook: salmon Hook size 2- 8
Thread: Black
Tail: Red hackle fibers
Body: Orange floss
Thorax: Purple Chenille
Wings: Brown hackle tips
Hackle: Grizzly
Tied in order as listed.
