Evening Folks,
Doom is not the problem, it is only a carrier. My friend Mike has been
having a lot of problems with the networks he services. The Norton's and
McAfee anti virus caught the Doom, but it was only a carrier. Seams there
are
several other viruses that are piggy backed to it and go undetected. Most of
them are "Mail Miners" or worms or Trojans. Seams the anti virus programs
lock on and quarantine the Doom, but the others are digging and hiding deep
in your computer, undetected. He found them by running Spybot and Ad-aware
programs that found over 75 hidden virus and auto mailers in less than 24
hours of run time. Would suggest downloading and running these programs just
to make sure.
I have had computer H%%% since last week and managed to download and run
the programs mentioned. Even though I never got a virus warning, the
programs found and blocked 38 infections, this is after McAfee and Norton
with the updates.
Just a thought.
