Reminds me of a conservation officer's story about: "You should have been here yesterday!"
He was out on this river and came upon a young man about 15 or 16 who was fishing and he watched him catch some trout. He walked up to him and asked him how the fishing was going. "I've done pretty well. I've been catching them all this morning." The officer said: "You know you really should have been here yesterday." "I don't know, I think today is just fine." "Yes but yesterday the season was still open!"
