Hi Everyone,
Does any have any experience with the C&F 6 spool tippett dispenser?
It looks pretty handy but I'm just wondering if the dispensing mechanism really works.
The dispensing mechanism works. What's even more, the spooling mechanism, with the heavy base, works really well. What I'm not so impressed with is the durability of the dispenser. The whole thing is held together by a bolt and nut through the centre of the thingy. The bolt's head rests on a rather flimsy piece of plastic. Tightening too far, or in my case probably a drop, will break this piece of plastic, rendering it worthless. What's more, such an accident, or more commonly, the desire to open it (e.g. to change the number of spools, will ruin all tippet material still on the dispenser, since all 'spools' are single sided. dissasembly will therefore not keep the individual 'spools' intact, and therefore will make it next to impossible to keep the rolls of tippet material from tangling when taking them off...
For the price it should!
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
Your welcome.
