Yes, there are. The Ari 't Hart dispenser is/was very good. Dunno if it is still available. The Loop dispenser is a good one, as is the, slightly bulky, Roe dispenser. The C&F works quite well, as long as you are careful with it. Problem with all of these is that they use their own spools, so that you need to respool tippet material from the spools you buy it on, onto the dispenser's spools. Traun river products make a nice bare-bones dispenser that takes commercial spools, though only from their own nylon, and riverge nylon. I had a good friend make me four delrin spools for it, and with those, it is a great tool.
Expense apart, I would probably recommend the ATH dispenser.
I would like to test the Fish Pond dispenser as well...
