Went out yesterday afternoon as the ice was going off the ponds.  I watched the wind blow the water over the ice and melt.  I saw about 30 feet of ice disappear while I was at the pond.   Did manage to hook half the fish that hit and landed 5 bass from 12 to 16 inches.   Returned them all to the pond, but it was great fun for February.   Looked at a few ponds  this morning and the ice is all gone now.  Most are still three to four feet low.   Rick
