That was one of the points of the swap...everybody gets a good sampling of new materials and tries to figure out how to make them work in their own fly tying and fishing.

I am going to try buggers, streamers, and using the yarn for parts of other flies, like collars. One of the swappers was going to see if the material could be used for Spey hackle. I am not a bluegill or bass flyfisher, but the material seems like it could be really good for those types of patterns. Another swapper does a lot of saltwater tying, and who knows how it will work there!

There are several types of eyelash yarn, and each is pretty different from another. It was just nice to get a wide variety of new and untried stuff to play with at minimal cost.
