I went to the Fly Fishing show in Ontario Ca. today,

Whew!, a lot of expert tiers were there.

That explains why it is so quiet here tonight.

I meet DonO, I watched him tie a perfect mouse imitation.

He was so busy I was just barely able to say hi to him.

I also got to meet Norm Norlander, I got a 10 pack of spar spools while

I was there.

My club had a booth, but instead of dressing up in Their Deep Creek garb,

They all wore their Volunteer Forestry uniforms.

They all looked like Game wardens, no one is going to just come up and start chatting to a Game Warden.

I would but I don’t count.

It was a great show, lots of guides, very few fly ting booths, just one guy really and he was a bit high.

ON price’s I mean, thought I better throw that out there for the retired hippies in the group.

Any way I got two nice peaces of Elk hear one is long one is just a nice peace.

and some very fine black moose hair,

a glue bottle with a needle tip,

the one that came with my Loon kit isn’t up to my standers.

And that was enough for me.

That’s my report on the show this week end.

"Often, I've been exhausted on trout streams,
uncomfortable, wet, cold, briar-scarred, sunburned,
mosquito-bitten, but never,
with a fly rod in my hand, have I been unhappy."
