Thanks for everyone's input. In typical Underwood fashion I researched
the subject to death and made my best guess. I bought a FishCat Panther
from Cabela's. It is similar to the Cougar and the PAC9000. This boat
has 9 ft. pontoons and, according to Cabela's, they are thermal welded
not sewn like the Cougar. How can you tell for sure by looking? My
pontoons are 1200 denier with PVC bladders where the PAC900 is 1500
denier with Urethane blabbers. I am sure that makes the PAC9000 a way
better boat but for $475 on sale and out the door, I think I got all the
boat I could get for the money. I seriously considered spending the
money on a Dave Scadden. I tried for three weeks to reach them with no
luck. No answer and most time the voice mail was full and not taking
messages.
