Jimmy,
I watched the Bass-masters on TV Sunday morning and have a question. The
bass being caught were in the 4-6lb range- really nice fish. But the
fishermen were hauling them in vey quickly, like an average of 6 seconds or
so, as I timed them. Are they using such heavy gear that they just
over-power the bass? They sure didn't seem like much in the fighting dept.?
Only one or two of them gave them but a second's resistance at the surface.

Curious mind wants to know. I've caught nice bass in La, and they fought
way harder than those did.
