Not relevant to fly fishing..... American Airlines was the airline that bent over backwards to help me get home when we were told to evacuate from Israel at the beginning of the Gulf War. I was left stranded in Germany and they fit me on a plane and upgraded me to first class with only a 1/2 hr notice. I will forever remember that as it was a very stressful time and we were so tired from packing and traveling quickly. They made sure we were well taken care of all the way home. >From my experience they have a great customer service team in Germany.
