Actually, Neritidae are not shellfish...they're marine worms.  I can
send you photos...videos...electron micrographs...jaw protein
composition....etc....let me know.

That is what I am discovering!  Lots of shellfish, the last couple of  
categories are arachnids.
Not what I was hoping, but that's the way it goes!  Most of the  
research in the area I am exploring deals with saltwater, unfortunately.
