Del, how about Deer Hair, rabbit dubbing,
Also. Do ALL materials have to be used? just an idea, and this would be more work, but have a list of 10-12 materials and have each person choose the 4-6 materials then want to use. Would not be the same, but get alot more flies...just an idea.
Or send everyone the same amount of materials, but not required to use them all? It seems to me that if you include a beadhead, and require them to use it, its a nymph swap<g>

This idea sounds GREAT, however. And I have alot of surplus materials that if you'd like I would gladly donate to the swap process. I also would like to join this swap once it is up and running.

I have plenty of Moose Hair, Emu Feathers, Aunt Lidia's Yarn (tan black gold), and Foams(white brown red purple, probably other colors) I have more than these materials but I am not at home, so I cant give you a full list. When I go home for easter I will let you know.

Since only one fly will be tied, what do you think as a fair time
limit?? A month?? Two??
Anyone want to make suggestions on the materials?? Amounts of each
material to be sent?? Hook size?? Send me a list of suggestions as to what you
would like and I will consider all possibilities.
Here is what I was thinking:
1 Saddle Hackle, 1 #14 Curve shank hook, 1" of green foam, 1" of larva lace
(or similar product), 1 gold bead, and 1" of red yarn.
