Hello everyone.

So...I was finally hit by a virus...or, rather, my computer was.
Bummer. I've spent the last several days getting things wiped,
reloaded, etc. etc. etc. So - I am back and eager to see what is going
on in the world of FF&FT.

Now for the fishing-related stuff....

Last weekend was spent on the Lower Owens river just outside of Bishop
(the wild trout section for all you "locals").

Fishing was awesome...Friday and Saturday were pretty normal - nice
weather but still a good baetis hatch around mid-day...not very crowded
(at all)...and lots of fish.
Sunday was a stinkin' trout rodeo. I don't know what I must have done
on Saturday night to pay off all of my fishing karma...but I probably
had the best day of trout fishing ever. I don't count fish (at least
not past the first one) - but there were a few times that day (e.g. more
than two) where I stood in a single spot (e.g. not moving more than 10
feet) for at least an hour catching fish. For those of you who aren't
familiar with the Low O...this is not a normal occurrence. There are
LOTS of fish there...and it isn't difficult to find them...but the
catching part can be tricky at times.

So - I came home quite relaxed and refreshed....

Eager to tackle the messages in my inbox...

Cheers,
Chris
