[VFB] Cauterizing Wounds - Bad Scene

There's really no reason to cauterize a wound this day and time. If it 
needs to be done, leave it to the ER Docs.  Tightly packed gauze and 
then taped will do wonders until you can get to an emergency room.  Same 
way with snake bite.  We used to cut and suck, but not anymore.  More 
damage has been done with the cutting than the actual bite, because 
people get carried away and cut nerves, veins and arteries.  Putting a 
pressure bandage - a tourniquet between the bite and your heart and 
getting your butt to the emergency room is the way to go.  Same way with 
a "wound"

This cauterizing a wound with gunpowder (or any other hot object) would
probably leave a horrific scar.  What say you?
