Really beautiful reel seats. Fantastic. This has got me thinking. If I
ever purchases a nice reel seat is it possible to attach it to an existing
rod?? Maybe this is a stupid question but I got to know if I could have a
reel seat like these some day.

Subject: [VFB] A bevy of burled reel seats

You may recall a previous post where I talked about injuring my finger
as I began learning how to make reel seats. Well, after a few misses I
have the hang of it and have made almost a dozen. (The finger has
healed too.) I've posted a picture of a representative sample of these
reelseats at

They are very beautiful, if I do say so myself. It took three coats to
get the beautiful gloss coat. Enjoy
