Tony, your Chili Pepper's success on the Guadalupe is no surprise to me. I've even caught largemouth bass on it in Lake Waco. Fantastic fly and danged near universal as for species that will take the fly.

Jimmy,
Just got this from a friend that lives in Houston. Tony

I have had excellent fishing on the Guadalupe
River this year with numerous trout caught in the 14"-20" range, some on
your Chili Pepper fly. I plan one more trip to the Guadalupe next week, and
then I will concentrate on warm water species until next fall.
