..................I sure did. The most successful pattern was Don Johnson's midge attached to a piece of red foam via furled mono. It caught me a good many fish. It has been resigned to my "Standard" box for future reference. One of each fly pattern I recieve from swaps, friends et cetera, I put into this standard box and tie up a whole lot more for use.
As regards the other patterns. Some worked, others didnt, but I will have to give them more of a trial than just a few days on the Corrib. There are plenty of small lakes around that will let me do just that.
I actually caught a few fish on your pattern also. The red epoxy buzzer, and all epoxies, usually do quite well early season.
