Went to a new pond this morning.  We had rain last night so getting to several ponds would have been a big problem. Hiked in just short of half a mile.  That is the short distance as the road way is abouyt a mile and clay.   Took some time but finally found the fly that the crappie went nuts for.  In the first 1.5 hours I caught 15 crappie. In the last 1. 5 hours I caught 66 crappie, 2 green sunfish and about 20 bass.      It was great fun as I could see most of the fish hit as I brought the fly in over the breakline.   You will have to contact Gary Miller about this fly as it is one that he sent to me.  The Crappie Dart was great this morning.   Going home to eat a few and deliver dinner to some folks.   Rick
