Title: Meddelande
Which Fly-Rite dubbing are you using?  They make different kinds.
All will rope-dub.

Critical points in rope dub:

Anchor dubbing to hook- don't try to bring dubbing over hook.
Twist counter-clockwise if you tie right-handed.
Do not twist thread with dubbing.  That's why the method works with mono and wire.
Do not pinch dubbing too tight while when roping.  Let it tighten on its own.
Twist the dubbing end away from the hook.  It will tighten up to the hook due to anchor.
Don't let go when you wrap the hook.

Subject: [VFB] Rope dubbing...

Trying out the rope dubbing technique on your website. Doesn't go to good though. To not having english as a first language makes it hard to tell which part of the text instructions relates to which picture.

I wonder about one thing though.
Both Ice Dub and Squirrel Brite are materials new to me and haven't found their way into my box yet. The dubbing material I mainly use is Fly-Rite. Are there any big differences in characteristics between Fly-Rite and these other two... is it as good for rope dubbing as these (just a training thing, I mean)?
