Welcome to the list. As you've already experienced, there is a lot of good advice available from the group here. There is an immense amount of fishing and tying talent. Glad to have you join in the mix.
Of course, there are a few Deans of the University of Fly Tying Perversity. You gotta watch out for them! ;-)
Again, welcome aboard. Enjoy!

Presentation - Niclas "Newbie Nick" RunarssonI'm 33 years old, born and raised in Söderhamn which is a small town by the east coast of Sweden. I'm a half-breed swede/icelandic. My father is an icelandic musician, quite respected, who was on tour 1970... and I guess my mother slipped in back-stage after his concert here. I picked up contact with the icelandic part of my family 10 years ago and it turned out that everyone there knew about me and really wanted to make me a REAL part of the family. Our contact since then is very frequent and I've been there for times now.I've loved fishing for as long as I can remember and bought my first fly rod when I was 14. I didn't get many chances to fish trout and that kind of fish then, but anyway I had quite fun with just pike and perch. Today I use to aim for a little nicer fish though, mainly Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout.I live with a girlfriend who is from England... met her on Internet on a chat for people with neurological problems. She has a nerve problem in her spine after a lifting accident when she was a nurse. She moved here quite soon and has lived here for two years now. Now we're working hard on having children, where my medication is a factor that doesn't make it easy... so fertility clinic is a part of the process.Basically tough times here in Sweden. I'm glad I can go fishing from time to time and push the problems aside for a while.
