Hi, everyone,
I'm trying to catch up on my over 1,000 e-mails in the inbox; if you e-mailed me and
didn't get a reply, it's coming... in time... In any case, my fiance and I want to
plan a fishing trip for the fall, 2 months after the honeymoon or so (that would mean
October). We had been recomended a creek/ river up near the NJ/NY/PA border called
"Beaverkill, NY". I've heard of it numerous times as a "older and purist" creek/river
but know little of the fishing action or regulations there now. Also, I don't know if
there's much play in that area in early-to-mid October. License and such is another
issue, but I'd immagine their DNR or DEP would have such info, even if they don't have
info on the stream or such. Any comments on the Beaverkill would be great! Where to
stay, what flies to tie up, if i'm wasting my time, any of that.
Thanks everyone, and tight lines,
Pete Gramp
