Matching the hatch is never a problem . Getting a hook big enough to tie the chicken on is though! ;-) The bass don't care about hatches. Ole Bucket Mouth will eat most anything that comes his way that he can get into his mouth, i.e. baby ducks, small snakes, lizards, water rats, you name it, he'll eat it.

In Maryland, we have plenty of hatches. Caddis, BWO, Trico's
But chicken hatches? Never seen one, must be one sight to see. I bet those monster texas bass just go bonanza on them chickens. How do you match the hatch?
