Title: Meddelande
I see everything as a contest... "ME against MYSELF". I always lose that one. I have problems with taking in positive feedback from other people. If someone says "That was well done", I automatically takes it as a polite compliment... as I know he doesn't want to be rude saying something else. When you start believing in yourself, then you will trust the compliments you get. I haven't reached that point yet. (And this isn't just in fly-tying. It's a major problem that I'm actually being proffessionally coached for today.)

As for the lamp, we're looking for one at the right price as we speak (and have done for a while now). My girlfriend has placed bids and lost on several when trying on Ebay. I've used them for many years before when I worked at Ericsson Energy Systems. When they shut it down, many of the tools and everything were sold out REALLY cheap. Today I regret that I never bought one of those lamps. But I know they are really good and it's probably the next thing I will buy in the "tools/accessories category".

Have a nice weekend!
/Nick

Nick, don't worry..this is not a contest..just tie your best and we will love the fly as it will catch fish.  I tie with a circular light with a magnifier on it, the kind you get in stationery stores..it is permanently clamped to my desk and all fles are tied looking through it.. It is so helpful..lets one see the fine details that will show up if Hans ever takes digital pictures of your flies.  Just a suggestion to make life easier. Joyce
