Craft foam you can get at Walmart.     I use White with a sticky back.   Put a thread base on your hook Tie in a tail Fold your precut piece of foam over the hook with the sticky back out and super glue it together on the belly against the sides of the thread covered hook shank. Remove the sticky back paper and then use what ever materials you wish to cover your fly with....   foil or lure tape trim to fit...   put on eyes color with permanent markers and coat fly with epoxy.
