I can't take it, I hate spray 77. Please don't take this the wrong way, please. I have been used spray adhesive for over 35 years as a cabinet maker. Spray 90 by 3-M is the best spray adhesive I know of. And if I was going to make a fly for use in water, it is all I would consider. And one pass of a light spray on both sides is all you need, less is best but you need a good coverage..

Hi Rick, Super 77 gets tacky in about 15 seconds. You can spray both sides for extra strength. Total drying time is about 30 minutes. Apply an even spray surface much like spraying paint from a sprayer.
