The KKK (kopper kaddis with a kicker) Put an appropriately sized gold Spirit River BriteBead on a Daiichi #1251. Attach your thread and wrap back to the tail position. Attach a small amount of Opal Pearl or Mint Pearl Awesome Hair at the tail position with most of the material extending towards the eye of the hook. Attach a length of brassie sized Ultra Wire (my favs are Chartreuse, Red or Gold...but they all work). Advance your thread to the bead. Carefully wrap the wire...keeping the Awesome Hair on the top of the hook shank...up to the bead. Clip off the excess wire. Fold the Awesome Hair back towards the bend and hold in place with a few thread wraps. Attach a few peacock herl and wrap the thorax...tie off and trim. Pull the remaining Awesome Hair over the herl and tie off as a flash back. Add some Whiting Brahma Hen fibers as legs and tie off. Trim the Awesome Hair tail fairly short. It's important to coat the Awesome Hair flash back with Flex-Loc as the material is very fragile. That's about it...it's an extremely fast tie...and it WORKS! Now...sshhhhhh...remember it's a secret...let's not tell everyone...we'll just keep it amongst us 500 or so...;^))) OK??
