Mark
When I pulled up that vise (Dingo) it looked like there were a lot of things
that could go wrong with it. I wouldn't like sending it back overseas to
get it fixed. The LAW did fit into my Dyna King base. I wish I had
bought one when the exchange was better also. I just can't pay the price
with the exchange rate what it is.
The more I use the Dyna King I'm getting used to all the adjustments on it.
It's a very nice vice. I've had only one problem with my Renzetti and the
guys in my DEM class were able to fix it quickly. I think it may have
locked up on me also and the jaws separated. They took it apart and fixed
it in a couple minutes. I've never had any problems with the Dyna King
except for the little adjustment knobs popping off when I left them too
loose. I haven't lost one yet but based on the service I've gotten from
their dealers I'm sure I wouldn't have any problem getting one if I did.
The grip of that vise on the hooks is amazing. I really put that vise
through it's paces. I know my Traveler couldn't stand up to the Dyna King
but I've never used the more expensive Renzetti.
