Well, for the past two years I have lived in Central Oregon (recently moved to Eastern Oregon) and have fished the Metolius. I have never had good success there. It is gorgeous and would highly recommend going. But, it is over fished in my opinion and makes it hard to catch anything. Obviously other people have had good success on it, so follow there recommendations to the T. Why you are in central Oregon though, you should try the Fall River, another great spring creek and some high lakes fishing. Best of luck1

Local patterns, times of the year to fish, etc. My fiance is planning trips 2-years in advance now... Mid- October is a 4-day weekend to the Beaverkill in Roscoe, NY and it looks like maybe late-May or June almost a year from now will be a vacation to Oregon around the Metolius river. I've got a keeper, who not only allows me to fish, but encourages it! 28 days and we're married... wow... Take care and tight lines, everyone, Pete ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
