I have had a number of inquiries about how I created the wing case on the pattern I sent to the Glass Bead Swap. The case was made by squeezing glossy black fabric paint onto the bead and surrounding materials. Be sure and get some of the fabric paint into the surrounding materials so that it has something to anchor to.

Came across this article today, linked above. It talks about using fabric paint in various ways for flyting and flyfishing. I have a good quantity of fabric paint around from the dome eye experiments thread that Deb Duran started, and am finding other effective uses for the material. It's hard to beat the ease of use. There are many cases where this material can be used in place of epoxy.
