Thanks for that folks. To be honest, it was a thought that just popped into my head. I hadnt really explored the use of poly-yarn any further than on a few larger dries, I might chance my luck on some of the smaller ones.

I know that I have seen this discused before somewhere but just as it comes
into my head.............do you feel it necessary to wing your dry flies??,
I have a problem with the traditional dryfly wing slips (usually starling)
and tend to leave them out. Now I dont catch that many trout, so I cannot
really tell whether or not it makes a difference or not.
Any thoughts??
