>I am Dave Campbell, 55 years old, and married coming up on 32
years.
WELCOME DAVE. AND THANKS FOR THE REMINDER.
First: I'll be delighted to help you in any way I can
from long-distance. Is there a fly fishing club in your area?
That's the best way to learn, or in your case re-learn. Some
great books available to. Each has his/her own favorite. I
happen to like an older book: Eric Leiser's Complete Book of
Fly Tying. Although it doesn't have as many pictures as a
lot of others, it's got the best descriptions of any on the market.
IF you read it, you don't need pictures.
Second: Thanks for reminding me - I've gotta get an
anniversary present within the next 7 ......6-1/2 days. What's
appropriate for the 48th? (For our 25th, I took her out to White
Castle. You mid-Westerners will know what I'm talking
about. Long-ish story for another time.)
I cut out about 2 semi-loads of limbs and brush this morning from
the back yard. Now I've got to haul everything out to the front
for pickup. Gotta get back at it now.
Sweatingly,
Allan
(not to be confused with that dude in Phoenix who doesn't even
know how to spell his first
name)
