Dave, one site you really need to know about is Hans Weilenmann's site, http://www.danica.com/flytier and make sure you put the /flytier in there, or you'll get a very different site. There's a huge list of recipes there, tyed by many different tyers. And there are some flies that give step by step instructions. Have fun, mark.....

As a note... I generally trout fish up in the higher elevations a couple hours North of Phoenix, and most of what I try to tie are trout flies.
