I was talking about lakes. The rivers around here are still fairly cool - North, Middle and South Bosque, and the smallmouth fishing on the Brazos is still good because of the cool water coming from the depths of Whitney. And, moving water is always cooler than still water. Did ya'll wade or float the Colorado?

You just need to lighten your tackle and move to the rivers. We did well in the Colorado below Austin saturday, mostly on spotted rather than largemouth bass, and mostly in shallow, shaded areas in moving water.
