I'm sorry I forgot to answer your question...   I have an 8ft 9wt.
A 9 - 10 wt depending on your personal preference is fine.  Mine is short
for most people...   I'm on the petite side so I wante the 8 ft.   My
husbands are 9 ft and 9 1/2 ft.  He has an 8, 9 & 10 wt.
I would stay with at least a 9 wt but it's your personal preference.
