Subject: [VFB] Glue Gun flies?

Someone last year was discussing using a hot glue
gun to make egg flies I
think. I was wondering about the technique? What I
was wondering was is it a
sinking type glue? If so is it buoyant or fast
sinking? I was considering
using it to form heads on minnow and crawdad
imitations. Can it be colored
while applying? Just some thoughts on a rainy day.
