Something Scott didn't mention.

If you're going to tie with high quality saltwater hooks, put a short piece
of flourescent orange tubing over the points of the hooks (notice them in
the photo). This protects the points and you (saving bloodshed), and your
thread from being cut on the tip while you are tying. The orange is easy to
spot so you remember to remove it just before casting. Trust me, these new
hooks are some kinda' sharp (I'm using Trey Combs billfish hooks) and will
make you bleed at the slightest poke, and with the buried stinger, you will
be poking yourself a lot, especially those examining the fly. So be kind to
them too.

This is not a bad idea with any larger flies on very sharp hooks while being
tied. I do it especially with my mice and sculpins (besides the SW flies).
And if you don't stick the hook in foam to store it, just leave the tip
protector on until you fish the fly.
