Great, thanks, am going to dedicate a couple of tins to just carp flies.
This should give me enough to work with. Amanda is chomping at the bit to go
back after them.

Subject: [VFB] Carp flies??

Morning folks, we got out today for the first time in so long. Had a few
minor problems but won't go into that right now. We did see a lot of carp,
(from 14" up to about 20"+) on the surface. They were cruising from on the
surface to about 2' deep, we could see them well. One thing dawned on me,
when my hard drive crashed I lost all my carp fly recipes and suggestions.

Wonder if anyone would care to re-share carp fly recipes, web links or
tactics. Once we get the snigglets taken care of we want to go back and try
for them. We could even launch the canoe at that point and work up and down
the river there. Am sure there are probably some bass and panfish in there
as well, but it is "Very" brushy and room for only one fly fisherman from
the opening on the bank. Amanda saw one that would easily go over 6#'s and
many more 3 to 5#'s.

A place we need to go back to with an arsenal of flies for them.
Jimi
