Jimmy D & list,
I plan on sort of sticking to conventional:
I plan on tying the orriginal 1928 Taylor "Beartracks" Williams Renegade
which was tied with all white hackle. Without the gold tag but with a short
Golden pheasant tail for a tail. "Makes it float better I think". It was not
until he moved to Sun Valley Idaho that he tied it using white aft and brown
fore which George Herter claimed as being an English fly called the Marryat.
It was tied by Mrs Edith Cox.
So mine will not be strictly according to the pattern, cuz I enjoy adding my
own thoughts and when it works for me, I make it a habit.
Am I a Renegade? Yep. Looking foreword to this swap.
