Jimi, you've got my prayers and a bit of extra cash via Paypal from my
"fly fishing only" fund. I mention this publicly only to encourage
others on the list to help out as well. After all, a small monetary
"loss" on our part is tiny compared to what you are experiencing.
All the best,
Tom

Hi Folks,
It never seams to end,
I had to leave and go to the doctor Thursday morning to get some
paperwork to "Define" and "Validate" my disability. My friend Dave
picked me
up and drove me the 248 miles one way, (as I have trouble with my
legs and
back driving anything more than an hour). I was in such pain on the
return
trip, (about 7 in the evening with still 100+ miles to go), he
insisted that
we get a hotel, (his expense), so I could rest. I called Theresa, (my
wife)
and let her know what we were doing and why, she told me they had a bad
storm brewing to the north. Needless to say I didn't sleep hardly at
all
last night and the rest of the trip took longer than usual due to my
discomfort. I tried several times to call but got recordings, which
concerned me very much. We finely got home early this afternoon to
find the
phones had just come back up. They had had a tornado pass just to the
east
of us during the night, (about 11 pm). I am so hurt right now, both
physically and mentally. We lost most of the roof on the shop and
everything
inside is soaked from over 4"s of rain. We lost the roof on the storage
building, part of the roof on the house, (now we have new leaks and
damaged
interior to fix), and everything is a general mess and some places
still
flooded. We also lost the solar paned due to flying pieces of wood
from the
shop that powers our water well. I have no job with which to make
repairs
with and due to my disability I am "Un-Employable" here. I am so stove
up
from everything that I can hardly move, we have nothing to spend to fix
everything and I am just to tired and worn out to think about it right
now.
I feel totally beaten down and discouraged. It seams that every time
we even
start to get ahead something else happens. I know the lord says he will
never give us more than we can handle, but right now I wonder at
times. I
please ask for prayer for strength and mobility to fix everything that
had
been destroyed and the materials to do it with.
In Christ,
Jimi
