Tom, it helps me to cut off most of the brush from the
bottle, leaving a very small brush and an easier to
manage product. -Jeff

Thanks to all who replied on this topic...didn't think
i'd get the responses i did.  I will give the nail
polish a shot.  Seems to me a lite brushing may be the
thing , instead of the 'dab" of cement on the tail end
of the thread is better.  As i said, i whip finish (3
times), then dab the cement.  Haven't had any problems
doing that on fish here in Vermont, trout and the
occasional smallmouth.
