Folks, to make it known. I have not been active or reading on the
list at all for months. I had no idea that anyone was trying to contact me
through the list until a friend contacted me.
About 5 mos ago a friend on the list (Steve Clark) fell ill. I
was very active in trying to help get him some aid from these wonderfull
people. I started building him a bench in the honor of his name. Steve has
always been there for me and I thank him for that. ( I feel soooo bad
that this bench has not been made...but I will make that
right!!)
After that -- I was in an almost fatal accident of my own and
without going into every detail I did not work for alomost 2 mos and I have
been getting bit by lingering health effects ever since. I am going to go all
out and say that this changed me profoundly for better and for worse.
As far as Mat, Tom, and the members in my flyswap go I will be
able to take care of those responseabilities by weeks end. My feelings of not
wanting to show weakness have honestly made me look like an ass. I have never
in 5 years had a complaint in my business. I have never had a person say...boy
that is shoddy work or customer service.
I am here .. I will own up to my mistakes and I am sorry to drag
any of this into the VFB list. A year ago my business was showing
the amazing potential and surprised even me when it came to how it may
grow. I was stupid in thinking that if I tried to be superhuman that it would
work and I have let people down. I am sorry for that and I will make my wrongs
right again.
