Update on my left knee.  MRI showed a tear in the posterior "horn" of the medial meniscus.  The other tendons, etc. OK. He did note some arthritis in the knee joint.  Going to New Mexico, (with my doc's blessing),  on 21st for a week of trout hunting, return on the 27th and have Arthroscopic surgery to trim the tear off the horn, (outpatient surgery), on the 30th.  Those Bextras I'm taking are helping more than just my knee.  Every arthritis pain I had is pretty much gone as a result of taking one 20 mg tablet per day, with no side effects, not even drowsiness.

Five Essentials of Fly Casting

1. There must be a pause at the end of each stroke which varies in duration with the amount of line beyond the rod tip.
2. Slack line should be kept at a minimum.
3. In order to form the most efficient, least air resistant loops, and to direct the energy of a fly cast toward a specific target, the caster must move the rod tip in a straight line.
4. The length of the stroke must vary with the amount of line past the rod tip.
5. Power must be applied in the proper amount at the proper place in the stroke.
