[VFB] non-fishing report (hurricane jeanne)

Ft. Lauderdale, FL – 30 -40 mph winds outside right now, rain’s going sideways. A little tough to backcast. Somebody named Jeanne is visiting our state. Still have power!! Provided we have light (plywood over all the windows makes an amazing simulation of a cave) I should get caught up on some swaps!   My daughter’s calling, back to “dora the explorer”. What will we do without dora if we lose power!?!?!?!? Yikes! I “shutter” to think…   Good luck Jerry, Ginger, Scott & the other Floridians! I think you guys are supposed to get the worst of it (again). Y’all are in my prayers (and there’s plenty of praying going on around here!).   (Note: this is not intended to start a religion discussion/debate. Please don’t be offended, upset, angered, insulted, affronted, annoyed, antagonized, bitter, chafed, choleric, convulsed, cross [again, not in the religious sense], displeased, enraged, exacerbated, exasperated, ferocious, fierce, fiery, fuming, furious, galled, hateful, heated, hot, huffy, ill-tempered, impassioned, incensed, indignant, inflamed, infuriated, irascible, irate, ireful, irritable, irritated, maddened, nettled, outraged, passionate, piqued, provoked, raging, resentful, riled, sore, splenetic, storming, sulky, sullen, tumultuous, turbulent, uptight, vexed, wrathful by the previous comment. It’s simply a statement of fact. If you could hear the winds outside right now you might understand. And this is just the beginning, it’s still 5-8 hours until it makes landfall.)   Ken
