I fished the Swan River, the Flathead River, the North Fork (Flathead above by the park). I tried to fish Duck Lake by Browning, but that was the only day the weather didn't cooperate.
If I decide to make the 2006 Conclave, lets make it a date to fish together up there. I have a place to stay and friends now to take us drifting. Next time I will take some flotation equipment. I gave the 'clinics' (more like intense demos) at the Stumptown Angler Flyshop and the Lakestream Flyshop in Whitefish, and at Two River Gear Flyshop in Bigfork. They didn't understand a word I was saying until I demo'd it for them. Then they were amazed and want to bring me up to teach a clinic. It'll be tough, but I'll have to try to break away to go do that. They were also wowed by the contents of the 'Baits Motel'.
