We've done many displays with a picture frame, some flat foam board and then
the flies carefully positioned with the name and tier under each of the
flies. You can do them as far apart or near each other as the naming allows.
With a bit of glass over the top, they will be protected from dust and
insects as well. Each year there is a Christmas set of 13 flies done this
way that goes to special friends and makes a nice Christmas present. You can
also simply put them, labeled and stuck into that same foam posterboard, in
small plastic cases and stack them in drawers for quick reference. Joyce
